Maatta (upper body) will be on the Wild's upcoming five-game road trip, according to Michael Russo of The Athletic on Sunday.
Maatta missed his second straight game Sunday against Columbus and doesn't have a clear timeline for a return to game action. The left-shot blueliner didn't practice Saturday, so he might not be that close to suiting up in a game, but it's at least positive that he will travel with the team. Minnesota's road trip begins Tuesday in Edmonton and concludes Oct. 27 in Utah.
