Spurgeon (upper body) will travel with the Wild on their upcoming five-game road trip, Michael Russo of The Athletic reports Sunday.
Spurgeon hasn't been in the lineup since Oct. 12 and was placed on injured reserve earlier Sunday due to his upper-body injury. It wasn't made explicitly clear by head coach John Hynes if Spurgeon will play on the road trip, but the fact that he is traveling is a good sign. Minnesota's final game on the road before returning home will be in Utah on Oct. 27.
