Johnston has already been ruled out versus the Avs on Wednesday due to his illness, with Joel Kiviranta (lower body) rejoining the lineup in Johnston's stead. The 23-year-old center has yet to find the back of the net in five outings so far this year, though he has racked up four helpers, including one with the man advantage.
