The Senators reassigned Shaw to AHL Belleville on Friday.
Shaw was demoted to the taxi squad Wednesday after playing 8:25 on Jan. 1 against Toronto. The winger has three points in 17 NHL games this season and figures to rejoin the taxi squad, if not Ottawa's roster, sometime soon.
