Shaw was reassigned to the taxi squad Wednesday, per CapFriendly.
Shaw played Saturday versus the Maple Leafs, notching three hits in 8:25 of ice time. The 29-year-old will be on hand as an extra forward, but even if he returns to the big club, he's not likely to be a factor in fantasy.
