Tarasov (undisclosed) will not suit up for Monday's game in Edmonton, per the NHL media site.
Tarasov will miss his third straight game, and it's unclear if he is close to returning to the lineup. Michal Postava will make his first career NHL start Monday, while John Gibson will back him up. The Red Wings return home to host the Blackhawks on Thursday, so an update on Tarasov's status might come into focus by then.
