Kemp notched three assists in AHL Wilkes-Barre/Scranton's 5-0 win over Hershey on Sunday.
Kemp had posted just one goal over his first six games of the year. The defenseman has four points in seven outings, a vast improvement on his 10-point effort in 70 regular-season games last year. Even with an uptick in offense, he's unlikely to get much of a look, if any, in the NHL this season.
