Rust (lower body) has been ruled out for the remainder of Monday's game in Utah.
Rust was seemingly injured in the middle frame, as the veteran winger wasn't on the bench to start the third period. The Michigan native logged two power-play assists, one block, one hit and a minus-2 rating in 9:32 of ice time prior to exiting the game. An update on Rust's status might not be available until the Penguins return home. Pittsburgh will host Florida on Thursday.
