Aitcheson was sent down to AHL Hamilton on Tuesday.
Aitcheson was brought up by the Islanders to serve as a healthy scratch in Sunday's 6-3 loss to the Stars. He'll return to the AHL, where he has an assist, a minus-7 rating, nine PIM and seven shots on net across nine appearances this season. He has a high ceiling after his successful junior hockey career, making the 20-year-old blueliner a stash option in deep dynasty leagues for the time being.
