Hutton signed a one-year contract with the Islanders on Thursday.
Hutton previously inked a professional tryout agreement with the Islanders on Monday. He's now eligible to make his season debut, though there's no guarantee that he'll draw into the lineup Thursday against Carolina. He had six goals and 15 points in 55 regular-season outings with Vegas in 2025-26.
