Thompson stopped 27 shots in Saturday's 4-3 win over the Panthers.
Florida jumped out to a 2-1 lead in the first period on a pair of goals by Brady Tkachuk, but Thompson kept his focus and gave his team a chance to take control in the second frame. The 29-year-old netminder picked up his first win in November, and on the season, he's gone 6-4-0 with a 3.20 GAA and .888 save percentage.
