Beck was loaned to AHL Laval on Wednesday.
Beck was called up by the Canadiens last week, and he appeared in two games during his time on the NHL roster. During that time, he was held scoreless with two hits, a blocked shot and a plus-2 rating while averaging 7:23 of ice time. After serving as a healthy scratch in Montreal's last two games, he'll head back to the minors, where he should see more consistent playing time.
