Beck was recalled from AHL Laval on Thursday.
In just 24 hours, Beck was sent down to AHL Laval, scored a goal in the team's 5-1 win over AHL Syracuse, and has returned to Montreal. The 22-year-old center has been solid with Laval this season, where he has two points in five appearances. He's been kept off the scoresheet in two NHL appearances, but he'll look to make an impact for the Canadiens if the team decides to have him stick around in the absence of Ivan Demidov (lower body).
