Joe Mixon RB | HOU
Bengals' Joe Mixon: Officially has concussion
Mixon has been ruled out of Sunday's game in Pittsburgh due to a concussion.
Mixon thus will end Week 11 with seven carries for 20 yards and three catches (on three targets) for 42 yards. He'll be subject to the protocol for head injuries before he'll be able to return to action, but his status for next Sunday's contest at Tennessee now is up in the air. Mixon will yield the Bengals backfield to Samaje Perine until he's healthy.

Joe Mixon RB | HOU
Bengals' Joe Mixon: Being examined for head injury
Mixon is under evaluation for a head injury during Sunday's game at Pittsburgh.
Prior to his exit in the third quarter, Mixon posted seven carries for 20 yards and hauled in all three targets for 42 yards. If Mixon enters the concussion protocol, he'll cede the Bengals backfield to Samaje Perine, who has two TD catches to his name so far in Week 11.

Cam Akers RB | SEA
Rams' Cam Akers: Productive with lead-back role
Akers rushed 14 times for 61 yards in the Rams' 27-20 loss to the Saints on Sunday.
Akers enjoyed the rare opportunity of breaking away from the Rams' typically confounding running back committee and made good use of the opportunity by tying his season high in rushing yardage. The third-year back has shown more efficiency than usual over the last two games with a combined 20-83 line on the ground in that span, and Sunday's performance may have earned him another chance at the top role in a Week 12 road matchup against the Chiefs.

Trestan Ebner RB | CHI
Bears' Trestan Ebner: Takes on secondary role in loss
Ebner rushed eight times for six yards in the Bears' 27-24 loss to the Falcons on Sunday.
Although the Bears ran the ball 41 times, 35 of those carries went to David Montgomery and Justin Fields, leaving just a small number of touches for Ebner. It would appear that Ebner will see a limited number of touches while Khalil Herbert (hip) spends time on injured reserve. However, should there be any games that are decided early, Ebner could be a candidate to see significant work in those late-game situations.

Dameon Pierce RB | PHI
Texans' Dameon Pierce: Worst game as pro Sunday
Pierce rushed 10 times for eight yards and secured two of three targets for nine yards in the Texans' 23-10 loss to the Commanders on Sunday.
Pierce was the latest back to fall victim to a stalwart Commanders run defense, leading to his lowest single-game rushing total as a pro. The star rookie's previous low-water mark came in Week 1 against the Colts, but he encouragingly remained involved in the passing game with his fourth game in the last five with multiple receptions. Pierce will have another tough assignment on his plate when the Texans travel to South Florida to face the Dolphins in a Week 12 matchup.

Devin Singletary RB | NYG
Bills' Devin Singletary: Busy, productive in Week 11 win
Singletary rushed 18 times for 86 yards and a touchdown and brought in both targets for 11 yards in the Bills' 31-23 win over the Browns on Sunday.
Singletary tied backfield mate James Cook for the team lead in rushing yardage, logging season highs in both carries and yards in the process. The fourth-year back now also has his first consecutive games with double-digit totes, and he's found the end zone on three occasions over the last two games. Given the struggles of the Lions defense to stop the run at times this season, Singletary could potentially be heavily involved again in his return to Ford Field for a Thanksgiving afternoon showdown against Detroit.

Jonathan Taylor RB | IND
Colts' Jonathan Taylor: Sluggish but finds end zone
Taylor ran for 84 yards and one touchdown on 22 carries against Philadelphia on Sunday.
Taylor added three catches for 10 yards on four targets but also lost a crucial fumble in the 17-16 loss. It initially looked like Taylor would run wild in this game, but after a strong opening drive, the Eagles mostly shut him down from that point. The Eagles doubtlessly paid extra attention to the run -- something they could do with impunity since Darius Slay and James Bradberry are so good at cornerback -- so Taylor was more imposing than the box score might imply at a glance. Hopefully he'll find more room to run against Pittsburgh in Week 12.

D'Andre Swift RB | CHI
Lions' D'Andre Swift: Another low-usage game with a TD
Swift rushed five times for 20 yards and a touchdown while corralling all three of his targets for 12 yards in Sunday's 31-18 win over the Giants.
Swift avoided practice limitations for a second week in a row, but he still was limited to single-digit touches. Jamaal Williams (17-64-3) and Justin Jackson (9-66-0) both saw more usage and production than the oft-injured back. Swift was able to maintain fantasy usefulness with a late score from in close once the game was well in hand. Fantasy managers should be concerned about the lack of touches for the 2020 second-round pick, but he continues to stay afloat with touchdowns in consecutive weeks. Expect Swift to continue to be used as part of a crowded backfield committee against the Bills on Thanksgiving.
-
Miles Sanders RB | DAL
Eagles' Miles Sanders: Struggles in tough matchup
Sanders ran for 47 yards on 13 carries and brought in his only target for one yard against Indianapolis on Sunday.
Sanders probably couldn't have done much more than he did, because the Colts run defense is among the toughest in the league, specifically because DeForest Buckner and Grover Stewart are such imposing run-stopping tackles. Sanders did his part by helping keep the Indianapolis defense honest, buying Jalen Hurts just enough room to work with to sneak out with a win. Sanders should find yardage much more easily against Green Bay in Week 12.

Jamaal Williams RB | NO
Lions' Jamaal Williams: Pacing NFL in rushing TDs
Williams (illness) carried the ball 17 times for 64 yards and three touchdowns in Sunday's 31-18 win over the Giants.
Williams battled through an illness during practice this week en route to his fifth multi-score game of the season. The veteran back passed Nick Chubb (11 touchdowns) for the league lead in rushing touchdowns in one fell swoop with this incredible three-touchdown day. D'Andre Swift (eight touches for 32 yards and a TD) has been listed as fully healthy for two weeks running now, indicating that Williams is still the head of Detroit's three-pronged rushing attack with Justin Jackson (10 touches for 77 yards) sprinkled in. Williams' fantasy managers should continue rolling out their RB1 with confidence heading into a Thanksgiving tilt against the Bills on Thursday.
