Chuba Hubbard RB | CAR
Panthers' Chuba Hubbard: Gets over 100-yard mark in win
Hubbard rushed 12 times for 125 yards in the Panthers' 37-23 win over the Lions on Saturday.
The second-year back teamed with backfield mate D'Onta Foreman to consistently rip off chunk plays against what had been an improving Lions run defense, although 65 of Hubbard's yards actually came on his first two carries of the contest. Hubbard's yardage total was a career high and marked only his second time eclipsing the century mark, and he'll aim to once again play a key role when the Panthers visit the Buccaneers for a critical Week 17 matchup on Sun., Jan. 1 that could decide the NFC South title.

Derrick Henry RB | BAL
Titans' Derrick Henry: Tops 100 yards, loses key fumble
Henry rushed the ball 23 times for 126 yards and a touchdown in Saturday's 19-14 loss to the Texans. He also recorded two receptions for zero yards.
Henry entered the game having rushed for more than 200 yards in each of his last four games against the Texans. He appeared to be in line for a fifth consecutive massive performance when he ripped off a 48-yard touchdown run midway through the first quarter. However, he managed only two additional runs of more than 10 yards for the rest of the game, which led to a strong but unspectacular performance. Henry also lost a fumble early in the fourth quarter, which led to a field goal for Houston. Despite the mistake, Henry has now topped 100 rushing yards and scored a touchdown in three consecutive contests.

D'Onta Foreman RB | CLE
Panthers' D'Onta Foreman: Massive numbers in win
Foreman rushed 21 times for 165 yards and a touchdown in the Panthers' 37-23 win over the Lions on Saturday.
Foreman and backfield mate Chuba Hubbard consistently gashed a Lions run defense that had been one of the best in the league in recent weeks. Foreman's yardage tally was a career-high figure, and it marked his fifth time eclipsing the 100-yard mark for the season. The bruising back has proven himself an excellent big-bodied complement to the fleeter Hubbard, and he'll aim to play a critical role once more in a Week 17 divisional road showdown against the Buccaneers that could decide the NFC South crown.

Tyler Allgeier RB | ARI
Falcons' Tyler Allgeier: Strong showing against Ravens
Allgeier carried the ball 18 times for 74 yards and caught four of five targets for 43 yards in Saturday's 17-9 loss to Baltimore.
The rookie has now topped 100 scrimmage yards in back-to-back games, and with Atlanta now eliminated from playoff contention, it's likely Allgeier will remain the top option in the Falcons backfield for their final two games ahead of 31-year-old Cordarrelle Patterson, who may not factor into the team's future plans. Heading into a Week 17 clash with the Cardinals, Allgeier has 817 rushing yards through 14 contests, giving him a shot at a 1,000-yard campaign with two games remaining.
-
Cordarrelle Patterson RB | PIT
Falcons' Cordarrelle Patterson: Quiet in Christmas Eve loss
Patterson carried the ball eight times for 17 yards and caught his only target for 14 yards in Saturday's 17-9 loss to the Ravens.
The veteran took a back seat to Tyler Allgeier in the Atlanta backfield, seeing nine touches to the rookie's 22, and it's possible the Falcons will continue to feature the younger back in their final two games now that they've been eliminated from the playoffs. Patterson will head into a Week 17 clash with the Cardinals having compiled 714 scrimmage yards and six rushing TDs over 11 games in 2022.

Chase Edmonds RB | WAS
Broncos' Chase Edmonds: Activated off IR
The Broncos activated Edmonds (ankle) from injured reserve ahead of Sunday's game against the Rams.
Edmonds, who last suited up for a game in Week 11, has bounced back from the high ankle sprain that landed him on IR and is slated to bolster the Broncos' backfield depth down the stretch after having returned to practice this past week. In his looming return, it remains to be seen how much work Edmonds sees in Week 16, but for now he figures to work alongside Marlon Mack behind Latavius Murray, assuming Murray -- who is listed as questionable with a foot injury -- plays Sunday, as he believes he will.

Rhamondre Stevenson RB | NE
Patriots' Rhamondre Stevenson: Poor all-around showing in loss
Stevenson rushed 13 times for 30 yards and brought in two of five targets for three yards in the Patriots' 22-18 loss to the Bengals on Saturday. He also committed two fumbles, losing one.
Stevenson overcome his questionable designation due to an ankle injury, but he ultimately came up small for both the Patriots and fantasy managers in a critical spot. Stevenson was stymied by the Bengals' tough run defense consistently, and his fumble on Cincinnati's eight-yard line with under a minute remaining helped make New England's ultimately unsuccessful comeback attempt that much more difficult. Stevenson could be rejoined by backfield mate Damien Harris (thigh) for a Week 17 home matchup against the Dolphins on Sunday, Jan. 1, which would dampen his overall fantasy prospects.

Travis Homer RB | PIT
Seahawks' Travis Homer: Dealing with sprained ankle
Coach Pete Carroll said Homer suffered an ankle sprain during Saturday' 24-10 loss at Kansas City, Michael-Shawn Dugar of The Athletic reports.
Before he departured in the first half, Homer made a tackle on kick coverage but otherwise didn't earn a carry or target. Kenneth Walker continued to dominate the Seahawks backfield despite not practicing at all during Week 16 prep due to an ankle injury en route to 26 rushes for 107 yards and two catches (on two targets) for minus-2 yards. Meanwhile, DeeJay Dallas had two carries for 10 yards and gathered in all six targets for 32 yards. With the health of all three in some question before or after this contest, the situation will be one to monitor as Seattle prepares for its next game Sunday, Jan. 1 versus the Jets.

Kenneth Walker III RB | KC
Seahawks' Kenneth Walker: Powers through pain for big day
Walker (ankle/back) rushed 26 times for 107 yards and lost two yards on two receptions in Saturday's 24-10 loss to the Chiefs.
It was tough sledding early on for Walker after he managed just 10 yards on his first eight carries. Seattle stuck with the run despite playing from behind, resulting in the rookie's third 100-yard rushing game of the season. Head coach Pete Carroll noted that Walker jammed his ankle a couple of times over the course of the contest, but that his lead back was able to finish without issues, according to Bob Condotta of The Seattle Times. Walker's fantasy managers appeared to have dodged a bullet, but it wouldn't be surprising to see the bruising back limited in practice again this week ahead of next Sunday's tilt against the Jets.

Alvin Kamara RB | NO
Saints' Alvin Kamara: Reaches milestone in win
Kamara tallied 20 carries for 76 yards and one touchdown and hauled in two of four targets for 34 yards during Saturday's 17-10 win over the Browns.
Kamara carried the Saints' option rushing attack with versatile quarterback Taysom Hill for the second week in a row. The running back's production benefited from Saturday's blustery weather conditions along with a depleted New Orleans receiving corps, as the team attempted just 15 passes compared to 39 total rushes. Kamara also posted the final touchdown of the game with a four-yard carry late in the third quarter. This score marked the sixth-year back's 72nd touchdown of his career, tying him with wide receiver Marques Colston for the most career touchdowns in Saints history. Kamara has now posted 20 carries in back-to-back weeks for the first time this season, and his added value in the receiving game should ensure him plenty of touches over the final two regular-season games.
