Daniel Carlson K | LV
Raiders' Daniel Carlson: Misses practice Thursday
Carlson didn't practice Thursday due to a groin injury, Rachel Gossen of the Raiders' official site reports.
Carlson now has two more chances to practice ahead of Monday night's game against the Lions. If, however, he's unavailable for the contest, James McCourt is a candidate to be elevated from the Raiders' practice squad in advance of Week 8 action. "We'll just see how Daniel is feeling as we go through the week and make the right decision at the end of the week here based on how that's going, whether we need to do something else in terms of elevate [McCourt] and all the rest of it," coach Josh McDaniels noted of the Raiders' current kicking situation.

Graham Gano K | NYG
Giants' Graham Gano: Practices Thursday
Gano (knee) was a full participant in practice Thursday after participating on a limited basis Wednesday, Dan Duggan of The Athletic reports.
It's a good sign that the kicker is on track to play for the eighth time in as many games this season Sunday against the Jets. Gano has made all seven extra-point attempts and 10 of 14 field goals in 2023.

Harrison Butker K | KC
Chiefs' Harrison Butker: Not practicing Thursday
Butker (illness) won't practice Thursday, Matt Derrick of ChiefsDigest.com reports.
While Butker will miss Thursday's session, special teams coordinator Dave Toub expects the kicker to be available Sunday against the Broncos. Friday's injury report will clarify whether Butker approaches the contest with a designation or cleared for Week 8 action.

Greg Joseph K | LV
Vikings' Greg Joseph: Misses two kicks
Joseph missed one of his four field-goal attempts and one of his two extra-point tries in Monday night's 22-17 win over the 49ers.
Joseph converted field goals from 21, 20 and 54 yards prior to sending a 50-yarder wide right late in the fourth quarter. Although he also misfired on a PAT, the Vikings still managed to pull out a surprise victory. Through seven games, Joseph has now made 25 of 29 total attempts, registering 43 points.

Jake Elliott K | PHI
Eagles' Jake Elliott: Converts all kicks
Elliott made his only field-goal attempt and all four of his extra-point tries in Sunday night's 31-17 win over the Dolphns.
Elliott converted from 24 yards on his lone field goal. Through seven games, he sports 68 points, currently leading all kickers in scoring.

Cameron Dicker K | LAC
Chargers' Cameron Dicker: Makes all kicks
Dicker made his only field-goal attempt and both of his extra-point tries in Sunday's 31-17 loss to the Chiefs.
Dicker converted from a career-long 55 yards on his lone field goal. Through six appearances, he sports 40 points, having made 24 of 25 total attempts.

Younghoe Koo K | NYG
Falcons' Younghoe Koo: Third game-winner of season
Koo made all three of his field-goal attempts, including a 51-yarder as time expired, to clinch Sunday's 16-13 win over the Buccaneers. He also converted his only extra point.
Koo's other field goals came from 24 and 41 yards. Along with Sunday's triumph, Koo has supplied the game-winning kick two other times this season. Overall, he's made 21 of 23 attempts, notching 47 points in seven contests.

James McCourt K | LV
James McCourt: Catches on to Vegas' practice squad
The Raiders signed McCourt to the practice squad Tuesday.
McCourt was cut by the Jaguars on Aug. 29 ahead of the 53-man roster deadline after failing to beat out Brandon McManus for the starting job. McCourt would be the next man up for the kicking job in Las Vegas if anything should happen to current starter Daniel Carlson, who is 11 of 14 on field goals this season.

Jake Moody K | WAS
49ers' Jake Moody: Third miss in two weeks
Moody went 1-for-2 on field-goal attempts and 2-for-2 on extra-point attempts in Monday's 22-17 loss to Minnesota.
Moody shanked his first field-goal attempt in the first quarter of Monday's tight loss after missing a potential game-winning kick against the Browns in Week 6. The rookie's hot start to the year has quickly evaporated with three failed attempts in two weeks, with only one kick coming from long range (54 yards vs. the Browns). Moody's recent struggles should push him down the Week 8 kicker rankings for Sunday's game against Cincinnati.

Matt Prater K | BUF
Cardinals' Matt Prater: Misses crucial kick in Week 7
Prater made one of two field-goal attempts and his only point-after try during Sunday's 20-10 defeat at Seattle.
In a game in which the Cardinals got inside the Seahawks' 25-yard line on just one of their 11 possessions, scoring chances were difficult to come by. And while Prater made his first FGA from 44 yards out, his miss wide left from 34 yards early in the fourth quarter kept the score at 17-10 in an eventual 10-point loss. After this four-point showing, Prater now sits in a tie for 21st among NFL kickers with 6.7 points per game.
