Giants' Graham Gano: Officially on injured reserve
The Giants officially placed Gano (knee) on injured reserve Friday, Michael Eisen of the team's official site reports.
With surgery on his left knee on tap, Gano now will miss at least the next four games while on IR. In Gano's place, it's unclear who will be the Giants' kicker Sunday at Las Vegas after the team signed Cade York off the Titans' practice squad and Randy Bullock to the practice squad from the free-agent ranks.

Chris Boswell K | PIT
Steelers' Chris Boswell: Perfect against Tennessee
Boswell converted both of his field-goal attempts while making both of his extra-point tries during the Steelers' 20-16 win over the Titans on Thursday.
Boswell had his first missed field-goal attempt of the season last week on a 61-yard attempt, but he took care of business with some manageable kicks in primetime. Over the first eight games of the 2023 campaign, he's made 14 of 15 field-goal attempts while converting all 11 of his extra-point tries.

Giants' Graham Gano: In line to go on IR
The Giants are slated to place Gano (knee) on injured reserve, Michael Eisen of the team's official site reports.
Once the move becomes official, Gano will miss a minimum of four games, but it remains to be seen how long the kicker will be out, with Jordan Raanan of ESPN.com having previously reported that Gano is slated to undergo a procedure on his left knee. With Gano sidelined, the Giants are signing Cade York off the Titans' practice squad and adding Randy Bullock to their practice squad ahead of Week 9 action.

Randy Bullock K | NYG
Giants' Randy Bullock: Set to compete with York
With Graham Gano (knee) slated to go on IR, Bullock and Cade York are candidates to kick for the Giants on Sunday against the Raiders, Art Stapleton of The Bergen Record reports.
With Gano unavailable, Bullock (who is joining the team's practice squad) and York (who was signed off the Titans' practice squad) are in line to compete for the team's kicking job ahead of Week 9 action. During the 2022 season, Bullock converted 17 of 20 field-goal attempts and all 28 of his extra-point tries in 15 games with Tennessee.

Cade York K | CIN
Giants' Cade York: Joins Giants
The Giants are signing York off the Titans' practice squad.
With Graham Gano (knee) slated to go on IR, York and Randy Bullock are candidates to serve as the Giants' kicker Sunday against the Raiders. Per Dan Duggan of The Athletic, a decision on the team's Week 9 kicker could hinge on a competition between York and Bullock during Friday's practice.

Giants' Graham Gano: In line for knee surgery, IR stint
Gano is slated to undergo surgery on his left knee and be placed on injured reserve, Ian Rapoport of NFL Network and Pat Leonard of the New York Daily News report.
For a third week in a row, Gano is dealing with a knee injury, which may have been the reason he made just one of four field-goal attempts the last two games. He told Art Stapleton of The Bergen Record last week that he likely required surgery but hoped to wait until the end of the season before doing so. Now, though, Gano will miss at least four games once the move to IR goes through. The Giants held tryouts for four kickers Thursday, and Randy Bullock will emerge from it with a practice-squad contract, pending a physical, per Adam Schefter of ESPN.

Randy Bullock: Joining Giants' practice squad
The Giants are in line to sign Bullock to their practice squad Thursday, Adam Schefter of ESPN reports.
The Giants worked out a number of veteran kickers Thursday and ultimately settled on bringing Bullock on board. Though Bullock will stick on the practice squad for now, he could be a candidate to get elevated to the 53-man roster for Sunday's game against the Raiders. Graham Gano is the Giants' lone kicker on the roster at the moment, but he's been contending with a knee injury on his plant leg and is coming off a rough showing in the team's 13-10 overtime loss to the Jets in Week 8 in which he missed field-goal attempts from 35 and 47 yards out. If Gano isn't deemed healthy enough to kick this weekend, Bullock would be his obvious replacement.

Graham Gano K | NYG
Giants' Graham Gano: Limited again Thursday
Gano (knee) was a limited participant at Thursday's practice, Dan Salomone of the Giants' official site reports.
Gano is tending to a left knee injury for a third consecutive week, which may be partly the reason the Giants held tryouts for four kickers Thursday. According to Adam Schefter of ESPN, the Giants ultimately chose to sign Randy Bullock to their practice squad, leaving him as the next man up to handle kicking duties if Gano needs to miss time due to the injury to his plant leg. Gano has one more opportunity to practice this week and prove his health, but if the team has any questions about his availability ahead of Sunday's game at Las Vegas, Bullock will be elevated to the 53-man roster.

Daniel Carlson K | LV
Raiders' Daniel Carlson: Limited by groin issue
Carlson (groin) was listed as a limited participant on Wednesday's estimated practice report.
Carlson was listed as questionable after logging one limited practice session ahead of Monday's game against the Lions. Concern about Carlson's status prompted Las Vegas to add James McCourt to their practice squad and elevate him to the active roster Monday, but he was ultimately inactive after Carlson got the green light to play. He converted both of his extra-point attempts in the Raiders' 26-14 loss, showing no visible signs of a setback. That said, until Carlson practices fully, his status will be worth tracking ahead of Sunday's game against the Giants.

Graham Gano K | NYG
Giants' Graham Gano: Still dealing with knee injury
Gano (knee) was a limited participant at practice Wednesday, Dan Salomone of the Giants' official site reports.
Gano played through the issue in the knee of his plant leg this past Sunday but struggled in a 13-10 overtime loss to the Jets, missing two of his three field-goal attempts. The Giants appear content to allow Gano to continue kicking even though he's presumably less than 100 percent healthy, but if his accuracy remains an issue in future contest, a stint on injured reserve could be in the forecast.
