Steelers' Aaron Rodgers: Tosses three more TDs in Week 5 win

It was Rodgers' third straight three-TD performance, and his 71.0 percent completion rate was his most efficient effort yet in 2026. He'll take a 10:4 TD:INT through five games into a Week 6 road trip to Tampa Bay.

Steelers' Aaron Rodgers: Mixed performance in Week 4 loss
Aaron Rodgers completed 22 of 40 passes for 299 yards with three touchdowns and two interceptions in the Pittsburgh Steelers' 27-24 loss to the Browns on Thursday. He also ran in a game-tying two-point conversion.Rodgers' final line underscores the type of uneven night it was for the future Hall of Famer and the Steelers offense as a whole. He got started on the right foot by leading a marathon 17-play, 78-yard drive that consumed 9:48 on Pittsburgh's opening drive, one he capped off with a 12-yard touchdown shovel pass to Roman Wilson. Rodgers would go on to add 21- and three-yard scoring tosses in the fourth quarter to tight ends Darnell Washington and Pat Freiermuth, respectively, the latter which the 22-year veteran followed up with a game-tying two-point conversion quarterback sneak. However, Rodgers' one non-Hail Mary interception in the second quarter, which was largely the result of his arm being hit as he threw, did lead to a Cleveland touchdown. Rodgers, who now has consecutive three-touchdown tallies, will look to regroup over the extended time between Thursday and a Week 5 home matchup against the Colts on Sunday, Oct. 11.

Steelers' Aaron Rodgers: Improved performance in division win
Aaron Rodgers completed 19 of 34 passes for 292 yards with three touchdowns and one interception while adding three rushes for 10 yards in the Pittsburgh Steelers' 30-27 win over the Bengals on Sunday. After averaging just 5.2 yards per attempt while completing a sparse 59.5 percent of his passes over the first two games of the season, Rodgers begin clicking in Mike McCarthy's offense Sunday. The future Hall of Famer averaged 8.6 yards per attempt and had five completions of 22 yards or more while connecting with nine different pass catchers overall. Rodgers distributed the ball on his three touchdown passes as well, hitting Roman Wilson, Ben Skowronek and DK Metcalf from 38, 23 and six yards out, respectively. Rodgers' passing yardage total was a season high despite his completion total being his lowest through three games, and he'll look to carry the momentum into a Week 4 road matchup against an aggressive Browns defense on Thursday night.

Steelers' Aaron Rodgers: No TDs, two turnovers in loss
Aaron Rodgers completed 23 of 39 passes for 187 yards, no touchdowns and one interception in Sunday's 20-3 loss to the Patriots. He also rushed once for five yards and fumbled twice, losing one.Rodgers threw for just 84 yards on 22 first-half pass attempts as the Pittsburgh Steelers took a 10-3 deficit into the locker room. Things didn't get any better after halftime, as Rodgers lost a fumble in the fourth quarter that was scooped up by New England's defense for a touchdown and added an interception on a ball that hit rookie receiver Germie Bernard in the hands. Bernard and DK Metcalf turned 17 combined targets into just 62 yards as Pittsburgh's passing game struggled against New England's stout secondary in the absence of starting wide receiver Michael Pittman (foot). Things may not get much easier for Rodgers in Week 3 against a Bengals defense that just held Houston to six points.

Steelers' Aaron Rodgers: Solid numbers in Week 1 win
Aaron Rodgers completed 24 of 40 passes for 221 yards with one touchdown and no interceptions and added three carries for minus-3 yards in the Pittsburgh Steelers' 20-13 win over the Falcons on Sunday.Rodgers commemorated his first non-preseason game under Mike McCarthy since a divisional-round matchup against the 49ers back in January 2020 with some solid numbers in Sunday's low-scoring win. The future Hall of Famer didn't have to be overly aggressive against a Falcons team down to its third-string quarterback in Cooper Rush, but Rodgers spread the ball around to seven different targets and displayed strong chemistry with offseason addition Michael Pittman (3-58-0). The veteran signal-caller hit Pat Freiermuth for his one touchdown pass from six yards out early in the second quarter, and Rodgers managed to remain free of any turnovers on the way to the seven-point win. Rodgers and his teammates get a stiffer test in Week 2, as they travel to New England to face a Patriots team next Sunday that will have a big rest advantage.

Steelers' Aaron Rodgers: To have Metcalf, Pittman back in Week 1
Aaron Rodgers is expected to have WRs DK Metcalf (undisclosed) and Michael Pittman (hamstring) available Week 1 against the Falcons on Sunday, Sept. 13, Brooke Pryor of ESPN.com reports.Rodgers didn't suit up in the preseason, and coach Mike McCarthy tied his decision to do so to the fact that Metcalf and Pittman weren't healthy enough to play. Even if one or both of Metcalf and Pittman aren't available for the regular-season opener, Rodgers wouldn't be a consideration to be inactive, but it appears the duo will be able to suit up, barring any setbacks in the meantime. Rodgers led a Pittsburgh Steelers offense in 2025 that didn't have much talent at WR aside from Metcalf, but the quarterback still completed 65.7 percent of his passes for 3,322 yards, 24 touchdowns and seven interceptions in 16 regular-season games.
