Packers' Jordan Love: Tosses four TDs in playoff loss
Jordan Love completed 24 of 46 passes for 323 yards with four touchdowns and no interceptions while adding one rush for 11 yards in the Green Bay Packers' 31-27 wild-card loss to the Bears on Saturday. He also fumbled once but recovered.Love was cooking over the first two quarters of Saturday's wild-card matchup, connecting on first-half touchdown passes of seven, 18 and one yard to Christian Watson, Jayden Reed and Romeo Doubs, respectively. Following a quiet, scoreless third quarter, Love capped off a six-play, 54-yard drive with a 23-yard scoring toss to Matthew Golden that answered a Bears TD just past the midway point of the final period. However, Love couldn't counter either of Caleb Williams' two subsequent scoring strikes, although a Brandon McManus missed field goal and a pair of late drops didn't do the veteran signal-caller any favors. Love also mishandled the snap on the final play, which seemed to disrupt his timing and led to some frantic scrambling before he threw incomplete into the end zone as time expired. The furious comeback by the Bears -- the largest in Chicago's postseason history -- sends the Packers into the offseason with an extremely sour taste, but Love enjoyed a solid third year as a starter where he completed 66.3 percent of his passes for 3,381 yards with a 23:6 TD:INT and added a 47-199-0 rushing line and seven fumbles (two lost) across 15 regular-season games.

Packers' Jordan Love: Confirmed for wild-card start
Green Bay Packers head coach Matt LaFleur confirmed that Jordan Love will serve as the team's starting quarterback in Saturday's wild-card game in Chicago, Matt Schneidman of The Athletic reports. After sustaining a concussion in Week 16, Love missed a Week 17 loss to the Ravens and served as the backup to third-string quarterback Clayton Tune in the regular-season finale despite clearing the league's protocol, with nothing on the line for the Packers. According to Rob Demovsky of ESPN.com, LaFleur noted that Love still got in a "mostly normal amount of practice work" last week. The QB will benefit from another full week of practice leading up to Saturday's contest and will be aided by the expected return of right tackle Zach Tom (back), who should be available to play against the Bears after missing the Packers' final three games of the regular season, per Schneidman.

Packers' Jordan Love: Active Sunday, but backing up Tune
Jordan Love is listed as active Sunday in Minnesota, and he'll serve as the No. 2 QB behind starter Clayton Tune with Malik Willis (right shoulder/hamstring) inactive, Mike Spofford of the Green Bay Packers' official site reports.Love cleared the concussion protocol Thursday, and at the same time coach Matt LaFleur announced that Tune would be Green Bay's starter under center for Week 18. After the team chose not to elevate Desmond Ridder from the practice squad Saturday, Love and Willis remained as the considerations for backup duties Sunday. Love's name was called over Willis, perhaps due to Willis still tending to right shoulder and hamstring injuries. Love thus has a chance for his first game action since the second quarter of a Week 16 loss at Chicago.

Packers' Jordan Love: Clears protocol, won't start
Green Bay Packers head coach Matt LaFleur said Thursday that Jordan Love has cleared the NFL's concussion protocol but that Clayton Tune will start at quarterback for Sunday's regular-season finale on the road against Minnesota, Bill Huber of SI.com reports.Love is on track to sit during Week 18 action as Green Bay prioritizes maintaining the starting quarterback's health for the postseason, an unsurprising decision given that the team is already locked into the No. 7 seed in the NFC side of the playoffs. LaFleur said the Packers are still working through the process of determining the backup for Tune, Weston Hodkiewicz of the Packers' official site reports, with candidates presumably including both Malik Willis (shoulder/hamstring) and recent practice-squad signee Desmond Ridder. As such, Love wraps the regular season with 14 appearances, in which span he completed 291 of 439 pass attempts for 3,381 yards, 23 touchdowns and six interceptions. He also rushed 47 times for 199 yards.

Packers' Jordan Love: Full practice Wednesday
Jordan Love (left shoulder/concussion) was a full practice participant Wednesday, Rob Demovsky of ESPN.com reports. This marks Love's first uncapped session since he sustained a concussion Week 16 at Chicago, but coach Matt LaFleur told Matt Schneidman of The Athletic earlier Wednesday that Love still was in the concussion protocol, while also saying some starters won't suit up Sunday in Minnesota. Although No. 2 QB Malik Willis (right shoulder/hamstring) was limited Wednesday, he wasn't among the signal-callers (Love and practice-squad members Clayton Tune and Desmond Ridder) spotted throwing, according to Demovsky. The Green Bay Packers are locked into the No. 7 seed on the NFC side of the playoffs, so they don't have much incentive to put Love or even Willis in harm's way, but it remains anyone guess who among that duo or Tune will be under center for Green Bay this weekend.

Packers' Jordan Love: Still in protocol, some starters to rest
Green Bay Packers head coach Matt LaFleur said Wednesday that Jordan Love (shoulder/concussion) will practice but remains in the NFL's five-step protocol for brain injuries, Matt Schneidman of The Athletic reports.Love was listed as a limited participant at all three of Green Bay's practice sessions prior to being ruled out for the team's loss to Baltimore in Week 17, in which backup Malik Willis (shoulder) also suffered an injury late, leading to third-string quarterback Clayton Tune taking the field. Per Zach Kruse of USA Today, LaFleur confirmed Wednesday that some starters will be held out of Sunday's regular-season finale against the Vikings, since the Packers are already locked into the No. 7 playoff seed in the NFC. While LaFleur declined to specify which starters won't play, it could make sense to allow both Love and Willis time to get healthy for the postseason, even if one or both are cleared to play Week 18. Green Bay is signing Desmond Ridder to the practice squad Wednesday, a move that provides the team with additional depth alongside Tune in case Love and/or Willis are unavailable versus Minnesota.

Packers' Jordan Love: Status TBD for Week 18
Green Bay Packers head coach Matt LaFleur said after Saturday's 41-24 loss to the Ravens that Jordan Love (concussion) will resume starting over Malik Willis (shoulder) when healthy, but he declined to confirm whether the team would rest any players during Sunday's regular-season finale against the Vikings, Rob Demovsky of ESPN.com reports."[Love] is our franchise quarterback," LaFleur said, "and when he is healthy, he's going to be our starter." Willis was forced out late Week 17 versus Baltimore and replaced by third-string quarterback Clayton Tune, which leaves Green Bay's QB situation very murky heading into Week 18. While Willis reportedly could have returned Saturday had the game still been close, the Packers are already locked into the No. 7 seed in the NFC playoffs, giving LaFleur plenty of incentive to allow both banged-up signal-callers a week to rest even if they are cleared to play versus Minnesota.

Packers' Jordan Love: Out for Week 17
Jordan Love (left shoulder/concussion) has been ruled out for Saturday's contest against the Ravens.Love thus will miss his first game of the season due to the concussion that he suffered last Saturday in Chicago, yielding the offense to backup Malik Willis (right shoulder/Illness). Love will turn his focus to getting healthy ahead of a Week 18 road matchup with the Vikings.

Packers' Jordan Love: Unlikely to play Saturday
Jordan Love (left shoulder/concussion) isn't expected to play Saturday against the Ravens, Adam Schefter of ESPN reports.Love had exactly one week to get through the concussion protocol after making an early exit from last Saturday's loss at Chicago due to a head injury. He was listed as limited on all three of the Green Bay Packers' Week 17 practice reports, and because he required clearance from an independent neurologist in order to suit up Saturday, it appears the window was too tight for him to be available. In Love's expected absence this weekend, Malik Willis (right shoulder/illness), who also is listed as questionable, is in line to lead Green Bay's offense.

Packers' Jordan Love: Questionable for Saturday
Jordan Love (left shoulder/concussion) is listed as questionable for Saturday's game against the Ravens, Wes Hodkiewicz of the Green Bay Packers' official site reports. Both Love and backup QB Malik Willis (right shoulder/illness) received the same listing for Week 17 action, leaving the question of who will start under center for Green Bay in flux. Love must make his way through the protocol for head injuries after he made an early exit this past Saturday at Chicago due to a concussion, and he was listed as limited on all three practice reports this week, which indicates he has a few steps, including gaining clearance from an independent neurologist, to get through to be able to suit up this weekend. If Love isn't cleared ahead of Saturday's 8:00 p.m. ET kickoff, Willis seemingly would attempt to play through his own shoulder injury, plus the illness the kept him out of practice Wednesday.
