The Texans released Mitchell-Paden from the practice squad Wednesday.
Mitchell-Paden failed to appear in a 2026 regular-season game after signing to the Texans' practice squad to begin the campaign. In two games with the Saints in 2025, the 27-year-old recorded one reception for 14 yards on 55 total snaps (33 offensive).
