The 49ers hosted Thomas (undisclosed) for a tryout Tuesday, David Lombardi of SFStandard.com reports.
Thomas is looking to catch on with a team after being waived from the Texans' injured reserve July 1. He appeared in four regular-season games for the Cardinals in 2025 but did not record a tackle while playing on both special teams and defense.
