Asiata carried 12 times for 55 yards and caught six of eight targets for an additional 25 yards in Sunday's 21-10 loss to the Eagles.
Asiata led the team in carries and yards as Jerrick McKinnon (ankle) left the game, finishing second in targets to boot versus a stout Philadelphia defensive unit. The big back would be in line for an expanded workload next week versus Chicago if McKinnon was forced to sit out, but there is a sense of optimism that the latter will be ready to play. Regardless, Asiata has touched the ball 35 times over the last two games and should remain involved in the offense moving forward.
