Patterson is starting for Stefon Diggs (knee) in Thursday's game at Detroit, Chris Tomasson of the St. Paul Pioneer Press reports.
Patterson has garnered his fair share of snaps in each of the last seven games, meaning he may not benefit much with the uptick in usage. Indeed, he managed four catches for 39 yards during Diggs' other DNP this season, but one of those doubled as Patterson's first touchdown of the season. He'll attempt to do the same against a Lions defense that has yielded 11 touchdowns to wideouts in 10 games.
