Van Ginkel logged four tackles, including 2.5 sacks, in Sunday's loss to the Lions.
The Vikings lost their first game of the campaign, but their defense continued to be ferocious. That was largely due to Van Ginkel, who brought down Jared Goff three times -- two solo and one assisted -- in the first half. That pushed the veteran pass rusher up to 6.5 sacks on the season, tied for fifth-most in the NFL.
