Jernigan agreed to a one-year, $3.75 million contract with the Texans on Wednesday, Ian Rapoport of NFL Network reports.
The 27-year-old was limited to 10 tackles and two sacks in 10 contests with the Eagles last season. He'll provide the Texans with added depth and another run-stuffing presence along the defensive line.
