Blankenship (concussion/hand) has been ruled out to face the Chargers on Sunday.
Blankenship suffered a concussion Week 6 against Jacksonville, and he had surgery on his hand not long after that contest. He hasn't played or practiced since, so it's not clear how close he may be to returning. With Blankenship set to miss a second straight game, M.J. Stewart will likely draw another start at safety.
