Ventrone left Friday's preseason game with a right hamstring injury, Chris Adamski of the Pittsburgh Tribune-Review reports.
It is unclear how serious Ventrone's hamstring injury is. There will likely be more updates on the safety's status in the near future. He is currently listed on the Steelers depth chart as the backup free safety.
