Head coach Pete Carroll said he has no doubt Rawls (ankle) will play in Week 1 against the Dolphins, John Boyle of the team's official site reports.
While apparently unconcerned about Rawls' status for the regular season opener, head coach Pete Carroll declined to say whether the second-year running back will participate in Thursday's preseason finale against Oakland. The lack of comment can be taken as a positive, given that Carroll ruled Rawls out ahead of each of the first three preseason games. Either way, Rawls is expected to split carries with Christine Michael, who has been a pleasant surprise for the Seahawks throughout training camp and the preseason. It's not clear how the carries/snaps will be divided, and there's also a shot third-round rookie C.J. Prosise (hamstring) will handle some or all of the passing downs. Prosise is expected to play in Thursday's preseason game and should be available for Week 1.
