Rawls (lower leg) is expected to be inactive Sunday against the 49ers, Adam Schefter of ESPN reports.
With absences from all three practices this week, Rawls will rest his bruised leg for at least one game, leaving Christine Michael in a prime position to handle the bulk of the RB reps in Week 3, especially with rookie C.J. Prosise (hand) slated to join Rawls on the inactive list.
