Love (calf) has been ruled out ahead of Sunday's game against the Commanders, John Boyle of the Seahawks' official site reports.
Love had his calf tighten up on him during Thursday's practice, and the safety was unable to get back on the field for Friday's session. With Love ruled out ahead of Sunday's game, Rodney Thomas is set to start at free safety opposite AJ Finley at strong safety. Both defensive backs are filling in, leaving the back end of Seattle's defensive unit weaker for Week 3.
