Charles (knee) was activated from injured reserve Tuesday, John Boyle of the team's official site reports.
Charles was acquired from the Jets during the offseason but hasn't played a snap for Seattle because of a knee injury. However, with his removal from the IR, he is expected to make his debut with the Seahawks on Thursday versus Denver and anticipated to hold a prominent role on special teams. To make room for Charles, Velus Jones was released.
