Ola (ankle) was placed on injured reserve Tuesday, Nick Underhill of The New Orleans Advocate reports.
Ola suffered a high ankle sprain during Sunday's 28-14 win over the Buccaneers, and has ultimately been placed on season-ending injured reserve. Derek Newton takes Ola's spot on the 53-man roster, and is expected to serve a depth role going forward.
