Perine (ankle) won't return to Thursday's game against the Jets.
Perine left early in Thursday's game to be evaluated for an ankle sprain prior to being ruled out. He only had one carry in the game, on which he churned out an impressive 30 yards. His status for next week's game against Denver is uncertain.
