Jones rushed 11 times for 27 yards and caught two of three targets for 17 receiving yards Sunday against the Patriots, though he also lost a fumble.

Jones' fumble came on the first play of the third quarter and the only pass he didn't catch was a drop. That being said, he still outperformed Alfred Morris, who rushed four times for 10 yards and wasn't targeted in the passing game. Some of the low output can be attributed to the Patriots taking a 17-0 lead less than eight minutes into the second quarter, forcing the Redskins to abandon the run. Nevertheless, Jones has failed to reach 30 rushing yards in his last four games, and his 19-carry, 138-yard, two-touchdown performance in Week 2 looks to be an extreme outlier.
