McDuffie (groin) was a limited participant in Wednesday's practice, Stu Jackson of the Rams' official site reports.
McDuffie returns to practice to start Week 8 prep, a strong sign for the cornerback's health after he was listed as questionable for Week 7 despite not practicing at all. The 26-year-old star will need to upgrade to a full participant by Friday's session to avoid any injury designation ahead of Sunday's game against the Chargers.
