Kinchens tallied nine tackles (three solo) during the Rams' 27-7 loss to the 49ers in Week 1.
Kinchens logged more than nine tackles only once across 17 regular-season games last year, and the third-year pro finished as the Rams' second-leading tackler in Week 1 behind Quentin Lake (10). Kinchens could be more heavily relied on in the secondary if fellow safety Kamren Curl (ankle) were to miss time. Up next is a Week 2 home clash against the Giants on Monday, Sept. 21.
