Akers carried the ball eight times for 37 yards in Sunday's 26-10 loss to Kansas City.
While he led the Rams' running backs in rushing yards, quarterback Bryce Perkins out-gained Akers on the ground, and rookie Kyren Williams wound up with more scrimmage yards.
