The 49ers waived Taylor (undisclosed) with an injury settlement Friday, David Lombardi of SFStandard.com reports.
Taylor has already cleared waivers and is now a free agent able to sign with any franchise once he regains his health. The running back was placed on IR in mid-August with an unknown injury. Taylor missed all of the 2025 season on the 49ers' IR due to a shoulder issue, and he will now be free to play when he is ready in 2026.
