Van Ness (illness) does not have an injury designation for Sunday's game against the Lions.
Van Ness popped up on Thursday's practice report as a limited participant due to an illness, but the fourth-year pro will avoid an injury tag after logging a full session Friday. He's accumulated 27 tackles (17 solo), including 3.5 sacks, through six regular-season games.
