Michael had nine carries for 19 yards in Sunday's victory over the Texans.
Head coach Mike McCarthy said last week he wanted to get Michael more involved in the offense, and he did just that, calling Michael's number nine times on the 11 snaps, according to Rob Demovsky of ESPN.com, he played Sunday. Michael did not make the most of his increased touches, averaging just 2.1 yards per carry, but he did outpace fellow running back James Starks in all of snaps, carries, and yards Sunday, which seemingly moves him ahead of Starks on the depth chart. If that is indeed the case, expect Michael and Ty Montgomery to share the bulk of the running back duties next week against the Seahawks, and likely beyond.
