Melton (back) did not participate in practice Thursday, Weston Hodkiewicz of the Packers' official site reports.
Melton did not practice on Wednesday or Thursday due to a back injury that likely occurred in the Packers' win over the Cowboys in Week 6. The 27-year-old will likely need to practice in some capacity to have a chance at playing Sunday against the Lions.
