Packers' Aaron Jones: Taking seat in Week 18

Jones (knee) is listed as inactive Sunday at Detroit, Mike Spofford of the Packers official site reports.

Jones has been tending to a knee injury that forced him to sit out Week 11 at Minnesota. While he's been able to play in the meantime and again was limited in practice during Week 18 prep, the Packers won't take any chances with their No. 1 running back, allowing him two weeks to rest up before the team's playoff opener in the divisional round. With Jones on the sideline, AJ Dillon and Patrick Taylor are the available options out of Green Bay's backfield in the regular-season finale.
