The Dolphins released McCloud on Saturday.
McCloud signed with the Dolphins in early August to bolster the team's secondary. The veteran cornerback's release coincides with reports that starter JuJu Brents (undisclosed) is nearing a return. McCloud is now a free agent, able to sign with any team that covets his services.
