The Titans removed Johnson (ankle) from injured reserve Sunday with an injury settlement, per the NFL's transaction log.
Johnson was moved to IR on Aug. 21. The cornerback underwent ankle surgery and was already set to miss time. Johnson is now a free agent but will be unable to sign with another franchise until he has fully recovered.
