The Patriots signed Lang to the practice squad Tuesday.
Lang was cut from the Seahawks' practice squad in mid-November and has not joined a team since. The tight end will bolster a Patriots tight-end room that has only three active players. If Hunter Henry, Austin Hooper or CJ Dippre were to go down, Lang would be a candidate for elevation to the active roster for Week 18 or a playoff game.
