The Lions placed Cromartie (knee) on injured reserve Friday, Justin Rogers of The Detroit News reports.
Cromartie has played sparingly over the last four years, making just 21 tackles and three pass breakups in 22 games. He'll sit out the 2018 season unless he reaches an injury settlement with Detroit.
