Cleveland re-signed Davis to the practice squad Thursday.
Davis has already appeared in two regular-season contests with the Browns this year, totaling one offensive snap and 23 on special teams. He was cut from the active roster Tuesday but now resurfaces on the practice squad as a candidate for elevation.
