Wetzel has signed a contract to join Atlanta's practice squad, Jason Butt of The Atlanta Journal-Constitution reports.
The Falcons add veteran depth in securing Wetzel, who has 24 starts (and 42 appearances) across the past four seasons for Arizona and Atlanta. The 29-year-old tackle will settle into a practice squad role to kick off 2020, though he may elevate to the active roster occasionally depending on the injury status of the starting offensive line.
