Carter (undisclosed) isn't listed on the Jets' injury report for Sunday's game at Carolina.
The rookie fourth-round pick missed some practices in late August with an unspecified issue, finishing the summer on a down note after some hype early on in training camp. Carter is still expected to get snaps on offense Week 1, but likely as part of a backfield committee with Tevin Coleman and Ty Johnson.
