Perine rushed once for three yards and wasn't targeted in Sunday's 34-31 win over the Bengals.
Perine worked as New York's third-string running back with Tevin Coleman sidelined by a hamstring injury and could do so again if Coleman's not ready to go Thursday against the Colts. The Jets are content with their backfield timeshare between Michael Carter and Ty Johnson, leaving little to no playing time for Perine.
